New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Lionel Messi and Nicolas Otamendi marked the end of the illoustious Argentina careers with an excellent team-up to open the scoring in a friendly football match against Benin in Buenos Aires on Tuesday.

After a goalless first half, Otamendi broke the deadlock in the 48th minute as he found the back of the net after Messi delivered a corner kick.

A few minutes later, Messi also assisted Argentina's second goal that was scored by Nico Paz.
