New Delhi, April 2 -- The United Democratic Front (UDF), led by the Indian National Congress, on Thursday, 2 April, released its manifesto for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections scheduled for 9 April. The document outlines a range of welfare- and development-focused promises aimed at key sections of society.
Congress leader V D Satheesan said the manifesto proposes a Rs.25 lakh insurance cover for every family in Kerala. He added that small businesses would be supported through loans of up to Rs.5 lakh.
