New Delhi, May 13 -- Ahead of the initial public offering (IPO), Reliance Industries arm Jio Platforms Limited has appointed Akash M. Ambani as its managing director for a period of five years, effective 9 April, according to the company's disclosures, seen by Mint.
The leadership rejig at Jio has come at a time when the company is closer to filing its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to get approval for listing on the stock exchanges.
