This marks the first strike on the militant group's stronghold since a ceasefire was brokered on April 16. Despite the truce, fighting has persisted in southern Lebanon, where Israel maintains it is actively dismantling Hezbollah operations along its border. Conversely, Hezbollah has dismissed any ceasefire proposals tied to its disarmament, countering that Israel must halt its offensive and pull back its forces from southern Lebanon first.
