Iran urges nations not to yield to US threats as it keeps door open to diplomacy
New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- Iran urged other countries not to give in to US threats as Washington stepped up its economic pressure campaign against Tehran, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi saying renewed diplomacy between the two sides nevertheless 'isn't impossible'.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on X on Friday that progress "hinges on US understanding of one simple fact: pressure doesn't work." He called on Washington to build trust and uphold its commitments, without elaborating.
