New Delhi, March 15 -- Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has dismissed speculation about the health of Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, saying there are no issues with his condition despite claims made by US defense secretary Pete Hegseth.
Speaking with MS Now, Araghchi said there was "no problem" with the Iranian leader's health.
The remarks come after Pete Hegseth said on Friday (March 13) that Iran's new Supreme Leader was "wounded and likely disfigured."
"We know the new so-called (not-so) Supreme Leader is wounded and likely disfigured. He put out a statement yesterday, a weak one actually, but there was no voice and there was no video. It was a written statement," Hegseth said.
