New Delhi, July 12 -- Iran launched a wave of missile and drone attacks targeting multiple Gulf countries following fresh US strikes, with reports indicating that Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) came under attack.

The strikes marked a sharp escalation in regional tensions, coming hours after the United States carried out military action against Iranian targets.
