New Delhi, April 16 -- South Africa's Lungi Ngidi was part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) side that won their maiden IPL title last year. He played just two matches, though, taking four wickets and was released by RCB.
Lungi Ngidi was then acquired by Delhi Capitals (DC) for Rs.2 crore at the IPL 2026 mini-auction, and has already played double the number of matches as last season. From four matches, Lungi has so far taken five wickets and is currently 10th in the IPL 2026 wicket-takers' list.
