India-US trade talks hit a plateau, says Sitharaman
NEW DELHI, Oct. 5 -- India-US trade negotiations have reached a "plateau" as both sides find it increasingly difficult to make further concessions, even as a trade agreement remains to be finalized, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Monday.
Speaking at the Munich Leaders' Meeting in New Delhi, Sitharaman said the negotiations had been "hard and very rigorously negotiated" and remained ongoing, but that further movement could prove difficult.
