India's software exports rise 8.2% to $221.4 billion in FY26, US share grows
New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- India's software services exports rose 8.2% year-on-year to $221.4 billion in 2025-26, with the US continuing to account for more than half of the country's software exports, according to the Reserve Bank of India's annual survey released on Friday.
The RBI's Survey on Computer Software and Information Technology Enabled Services Exports: 2025-26 showed that software services exports, excluding sales through the overseas commercial presence of Indian companies, increased from $204.7 billion in 2024-25 to $221.4 billion in 2025-26.
The survey covered exports by type of activity, delivery mode, destination and mode of supply.
