New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- India and Japan aim to strengthen cooperation in startups, deep technology, innovation, and MSMEs, with commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal proposing a framework to boost investment, technology partnerships, and cross-border links, a commerce ministry release said.

Speaking at the India-Japan Startup Roundtable in Tokyo, Goyal highlighted India's emergence as the world's third-largest startup ecosystem, with nearly 250,000 startups established over the past decade.
