New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- When buying a mixer grinder, a higher wattage is often the first thing that you think of. When picking between a 1000W model and a 750W model, usually the former gets picked. The thought process is that higher wattage means more power and a better grinding performance. However, that's not the case. Not always, at least. The difference in motor power can affect how easily a mixer handles hard spices, coconut, nuts, batter and everyday grinding, but it can also influence noise, heat generation, electricity consumption and price.
