HDFC Life Insurance Company Q1 results: Profit rises 12% YoY to Rs.611 crore; VNB up 9%
New Delhi, July 15 -- HDFC Life Insurance Company Q1 results: HDFC Life Insurance Company, on Wednesday, 15 July, reported a 12% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its standalone profit to Rs.611.42 crore for the April-June quarter of the current financial year (Q1FY27). In the same quarter last year, the company's profit was Rs.546.46 crore.
Value of new business (VNB) for the quarter rose by 9% YoY to Rs.879 crore, while new business margins stood at 25% compared to 25.1% YoY.
The company's overall industry market share stood at 11.2% by the end of the quarter.
