New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- The price of the yellow metal in India's retail market dropped on Wednesday, 23 September, amid news of talks between the US and Iran at the UN meeting.

President Donald Trump said late Tuesday that US officials had a "very good meeting" with Iran's delegation and that it lasted about three hours, according to a CNBC US report.

Oil prices declined today, amid optimism that supply disruptions would ease following US-Iran talks, which raised hopes of a diplomatic solution to the conflict in the Middle East.

Futures for international benchmark Brent crude for November delivery dropped 0.75% at $98.51 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate futures for November fell 1.03% at $89.59 per barrel.
