George Russell dominates Dutch GP sprint from pole position for crucial win
New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- George Russell produced a composed and authoritative drive to win the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix sprint race from pole position. The Mercedes driver led every one of the 24 laps at Zandvoort, managing a tight group of challengers behind him while never allowing them a genuine chance to attack.
Russell controlled the race from the start. A four-car train formed behind him for long stretches, yet he maintained a steady gap and focused on tyre preservation. His measured approach paid off as the race entered its second half.
