2026 laptop trends, May 20 -- If you've checked laptop prices in India over the past few months, you've probably noticed something unusual. The laptops meant for work, college, and daily use are getting costlier again, while gaming machines are quietly becoming easier to buy.

That split is shaping the laptop market in 2026.

The festive sale period at the end of 2025 pushed prices down across categories. But once the discounts disappeared, productivity laptops started climbing back up.
