New Delhi, Aug. 16 -- Fashion month is around the corner, and the industry's attention will once again turn to the "Big Four". New York Fashion Week runs from 10-15 September, followed by London, Milan and finally, Paris. Each city has its own identity: New York is known for commercial, contemporary fashion; London for nurturing emerging talent; Milan for craftsmanship and heritage houses; while Paris remains the pinnacle of high fashion.

Increasingly, Indian designers are becoming part of that conversation. This season, Sabyasachi returns to the New York Fashion Week calendar after 14 years, Lovebirds makes its London debut, and Dhruv Kapoor continues to build a presence in Milan.
