FMCG sector set for strong Q1, lower crude oil prices to boost margins, says Anand Rathi; Marico, HUL among top picks
New Delhi, June 30 -- The consumer sector is poised for a strong start to FY27, with healthy revenue growth expected in the June quarter on the back of premiumisation, price-led growth, GST rate cuts and expanding distribution channels, according to Anand Rathi Research, which conducted extensive channel checks with dealers, distributors and industry participants across the FMCG, paints and alcoholic beverages segments.
While El Niño-related weather risks could weigh on rural demand, the brokerage expects steady volume growth, complemented by moderate price increases.
