New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- Salima Tete-led India will hope to clinch a crucial victory over Australia in their 2026 FIH Women's Hockey World Cup Group E match at the Wagener Hockey Stadium in Amstelveen on Sunday.
India, who were unbeaten in the first round pool stage of the World Cup with one win and two draws, suffered a 2-0 loss to co-hosts Netherlands on Friday.
That loss meant that India remained with just one point from two matches, having carried forward their point against China from the first round.
