New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- An unexpected meeting between a father and son in the middle of the ocean has captured the attention of social media users after their ships happened to cross paths while travelling in opposite directions.

The emotional encounter was captured on video and shared on Instagram by sailor Rusheel Saran.

Rusheel was sailing north aboard his ship when he spotted a large vessel approaching from the opposite direction. After checking the approaching ship's details and route, he realised that his father was on board and was travelling south.
