New Delhi, March 15 -- The Election Commission on Sunday announced the schedule of assembly elections for the states of Assam and Kerala, and union territory Puducherry.

Polling in Assam and Kerala will be held in a single phase on 9th April 2026. The counting of votes in both the states will be held on 4th May 2026.

In Puducherry, polling will be held in a single phase on 9th April 2026 and counting of votes will be conducted on 4th May 2026.
