New Delhi, May 12 -- Form 26AS aka the Annual Information Statement (AIS) is a comprehensive display of a taxpayer's financial statement for the year. It has been replaced by Form 168 under the new Income-Tax Act (ITA) 2025.

Updated once the I-T department processes Tax Deducted at Source returns filed by the authorised TDS deductors by 31 May, it is available for download via the official Income Tax e-filing portal and the TRACES website after seven days. Alternatively, you can also download your Form 26AS via your bank website.
