New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- Rainfall lashed several parts of Delhi on early Sunday, bringing a pleasant turn to the weather. The city received 1 mm of rainfall between 8.30 pm on Saturday and 8:30 am on Sunday.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), light rain was recorded in isolated areas across the national capital, while the Safdarjung area reported mist along with a temperature of 27degC as of 8 am.

Meanwhile, the Ridge area experienced a light thunderstorm accompanied by rain and mist, with temperatures standing at 26degC as of 7 am, as per IMD.

Earlier, over the past 24 hours, Delhi recorded very light to light rain at many places, with moderate rainfall at isolated places accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. M...
