New Delhi, June 19 -- The Delhi High Court delivered its verdict on Friday on Telegram's plea challenging the Central Government's decision to temporarily suspend the messaging platform in India ahead of the NEET re-examination.

According to Bar and Bench, the court upheld the Telegram ban, stating that "the reasons supplied are sufficient and government has followed the procedure in Section 69A".

1. Justice Tejas Karia held that the government's justification for blocking Telegram was adequate given the circumstances and dismissed the platform's claims that the order was procedurally flawed or lacked sufficient reasoning.
