New Delhi, March 24 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government on Tuesday presented a budget estimate of 1,03,700 crore for 2026-27. This year's budget allocation is higher than last year which was Rs.1 lakh crore.

Gupta described it as a 'green budget' that focuses on environmental sustainability and balanced development.

"I am pleased to announce that we have made some special efforts to meet the needs of Delhi. This time, we have presented Delhi's budget as a 'green budget.' We have seen every plan through a 'green lens.'
