New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- India's gold rush in Glasgow at the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026 continued as Preeti Pawar, Jaismine Lamboria, Sakshi Chaudhary, Arundhati Choudhary, Sachin Siwach, Ankush Phangal and Priya Ghanghas won their respective final bouts on Saturday.

However, medal favourites Lovlina Borgohain and Jadumani Singh had to settle for silver, after losing their final bouts.

This was India's seventh gold medal in nine finals so far at CWG 2026, with three more summit clashes to go on the day. Coming after a gold medal at the World Boxing Cup 2025 in Astana, Sakshi scored a unanimous 5-0 win over Ruby White of England to win the top prize in the women's 51kg final.
