New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- Colombia is seeking deeper law-enforcement cooperation with India to counter drug-trafficking, and procuring drone shield technology from state-run Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) as the South American country looks to strengthen its fight against drug cartels and narco-terrorists.

The Colombian government is also considering creating a new position of police-attache at its embassy in New Delhi, Colombia's ambassador to India, Victor Hugo Echeverri Jaramillo said in an interview.
