Cipla Q1 results: Profit falls 39% YoY to Rs.789 crore; revenue climbs 3.50%
Cipla Q1 results, July 23 -- Pharma company Cipla on Thursday, 23 July, reported a 39.2% year-on-year (YoY) drop in its consolidated profit for the April-June quarter of the financial year 2029-27 (Q1FY27) to Rs.789.05 crore.
In the same quarter last year, the company's profit was Rs.1,297.62 crore.
Sequentially, or on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the company's profit increased by 42.3% from Rs.554.64 crore in Q4FY26.
Revenue from sale of products for the quarter rose 3.50% YoY and 9.5% QoQ to Rs.7,077.02 crore. In Q1FY26, Cipla's revenue was Rs.6,837.04 crore, while in Q4FY26, it was Rs.6,464.26 crore.
