New Delhi, July 25 -- Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to affray in connection with a violent attack at a London nightclub in 2023, bringing an end to plans for a trial on more serious charges.

The 37-year-old American singer entered his guilty plea at Southwark Crown Court on Friday, where the hearing lasted less than five minutes. His vocal coach and co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, who performs under the name HoodyBaby, also pleaded guilty to affray. Both men are due to be sentenced on 26 October.
