New Delhi, Oct. 29 -- When Bengaluru-based Anush Shenoy decided to buy a Harley-Davidson motorcycle recently, he placed the order on Amazon instead of visiting a showroom. The decision saved him Rs.20,000 on a bike priced at Rs.2.86 lakh, a discount of about 7%.

Of this, Rs.15,000 came from an Amazon coupon and another Rs.5,000 from a credit card offer. "This doesn't even include the indirect savings in the form of credit card rewards I've earned," he said.
