Stock market today, Sept. 4 -- The bull run in BSE share prices extended for the second straight session on Friday. BSE share price today opened with an upside gap at Rs.3,400 and hit an intraday high of Rs.3,474 within a few minutes of the Opening Bell. However, some profit booking took place at the higher levels and by 10:20 AM, the BSE share price was around Rs.3,437 per share, logging an intraday gain of around 4%. The BSE share price has been rising for two consecutive days. In the last two straight sessions, the BSE share price has surged from Rs.3,168 to Rs.3,474, logging a nearly 10% rise.
