New Delhi, April 5 -- In a memorable moment at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bhuvneshwar Kumar scripted a new chapter in IPL history during Royal Challengers Bengaluru's clash against Chennai Super Kings. The 36-year-old veteran pacer dismissed young CSK batter Ayush Mhatre to claim his 200th IPL wicket, becoming the first fast bowler ever to achieve this landmark.

The milestone wicket came when Bhuvneshwar bowled a hard-length delivery outside off that climbed sharply on the right-hander. Ayush Mhatre, attempting a pull, was cramped for room and could only lob the ball high towards mid-off. Rajat Patidar completed a simple catch, triggering wild celebrations from the RCB camp.
