New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- A working corporate card does not guarantee access to an Indian bank account overseas. The registered mobile number may not receive an OTP. A banking app may flag an unfamiliar login. A lost phone can take away both the account and the method used to recover it.
Connection security matters, but the network is only one part of safe banking abroad. Travellers must keep access to their registered number. They should use devices they already trust and check payment requests through a second route. Those decisions belong on the pre-flight list.
