New Delhi, Oct. 31 -- Bank holidays this week, November 1 to 8: Even though the week is busy with Diwali festivities, banks have a heavy work schedule.

While there is no national holiday this week, customers are advised to check their local holiday calendar before heading to their bank branch.

During a holiday, branch-based tasks such as cash deposits and cheque-related work will be paused, but customers can seamlessly continue their financial transactions via internet banking, ATMs, and UPI.

November 2: Only bank branches in Shillong are closed for the Nongkrem Dance Festival.

November 7: Despite Choti Diwali falling on Saturday, it will be a regular working day for bankers across the country.
