New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- Banking customers across the nation can head towards their respective branches without any worry today, Saturday, 29 August 2026. This is the 5th Saturday of the month, and under the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) rules, only the second and fourth Saturdays are observed as bank holidays.

Furthermore, all public and private-sector lending institutions, including State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC, ICICI, Axis Bank, and Bandhan Bank, are open for regular business across the country.
