New Delhi, May 26 -- Muslims across the globe are preparing to celebrate Eid al-Adha, one of the most significant festivals in Islam. Also referred to as Bakrid, Eid-ul-Azha, Bakra Eid, Bakhreid, Eid-ul-Zuha, Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, this sacred occasion symbolises devotion, selflessness, and compassion. Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the lunar year.
