Bajaj Finance Q1 Results: Net profit jumps 27% to Rs.5,986 crore; NII up 23%
New Delhi, July 30 -- Bajaj Finance Ltd. posted a strong set of earnings for the April-June quarter (Q1 FY27), with higher lending income and a sharp increase in profitability, although deterioration in asset quality weighed on the overall performance.
The non-banking financial company (NBFC) reported a 27.4% YoY rise in consolidated net profit to Rs.5,986 crore versus Rs.4,699 crore in the same period last year.
Net interest income (NII) increased 23% YoY to Rs.12,571 crore during the quarter, compared with Rs.10,288 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
The company's loan book continued to expand at a healthy pace, with assets under management (AUM) rising 23% YoY to Rs.4,00,389 crore as of June 30, 2026, ...
