New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- The India women's trap shooting team clinched a silver medal at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on Tuesday.

The team of Neeru, Aashima Ahlawat (106) and Manisha Keer (104) put up an impressive performance to seal second spot for India with a total score of 328.

There was double delight for India at the event as Neeru topped the individual qualification with a score of 118 to qualify for the final that will take place later on Tuesday.

India has so far won 46 medals in total, including four gold, 21 silver and 21 bronze medals.
