Annapurna Yojona: 'Voluntarily forgo benefits if.,' Suvendu Adhikari's unusual request to Rs.3,000 scheme beneficiaries
New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Payments under the West Bengal government's 'Annapurna Yojana' began reaching beneficiary bank accounts on Monday, with 1.45 crore eligible women set to receive Rs.3,000 each. Interacting with members of the 'Upbhokta Matri Mandali' about the Annapurna Yojana, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari clarified who will receive the scheme's benefits by the 20th of this month and what beneficiaries should do if they do not receive the payment. He also appealed to people to have faith in the new government.
