New Delhi, Oct. 5 -- Akhilesh Pathak has assumed charge as Director (Projects) at Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID), effective 30 September 2026, the company said in a statement.

POWERGRID is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power. Pathak joined the company as an executive trainee in its first batch in 1993 and has more than 32 years of experience in the power sector.

His experience spans transmission system planning, project execution, project management, business development and strategic infrastructure development. He has also worked on the development, execution, monitoring and commissioning of extra-high-voltage (EHV) transmission lines and substations.
