New Delhi, Oct. 16 -- Around 11 months after the 8th central pay commission (CPC) was constituted in November last year, it is in its consultation stage, gathering inputs from central government employees and pensioner groups, unions and stakeholders before it makes its final recommendations next year.

The commission has next week also scheduled meetings in Mumbai in order to hold discussions with employee unions, representatives, groups, pensioner associations, federations, and other stakeholders.
