New Delhi, July 21 -- Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Tuesday (July 21) condemned the police action against students protesting over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, calling the use of force against peaceful demonstrators "utterly disgraceful" after meeting injured protesters in Delhi.

His remarks came after clashes erupted during the Cockroach Janata Party's (CJP) "Chalo Sansad" march, where Delhi Police used tear gas shells and baton charges to stop thousands of protesters from marching towards Parliament.
