'No adverse weather': Kochi airport accuses SpiceJet of misinformation; airline responds- It was 'precautionary measure'
New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- The weather conditions in Kochi city were not adverse and didn't warrant disruptions to SpiceJet services, the Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) said on Saturday, accusing the airline of spreading misinformation.
On Saturday, the airline alleged that, due to "bad weather in Kochi," flight operations may be affected.
"Due to bad weather in Kochi, all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights might be affected. Passengers are requested to check their flight status via httpspicejet.com/#status," SpiceJet said in a social media post.
