New Delhi, April 16 -- A software professional currently working at Microsoft has sparked a conversation online after sharing his experience of how staying in one company for an extended period affected his salary growth.

In a video posted on Instagram, Sailesh Gurung reflected on his early career decisions, calling "loyalty" his "biggest mistake" when it came to financial progression.
