New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- A 28-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend at a hotel in Delhi's Lahori Gate area, following which he allegedly consumed poison in an attempted suicide, police said on Thursday.
The accused, a Rajasthan native, and the woman, from Bihar, had checked into Hotel Prince on Wednesday evening. Police said the man allegedly stabbed her during the night before consuming poison. Hotel staff found the woman with multiple stab injuries on Thursday morning. She was declared brought dead at a hospital, while the accused is undergoing treatment. mpost
