India, Aug. 18 -- Water supply will remain disrupted in several parts of West Delhi on August 20 as the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) undertakes renovation and repair of a 1100-mm diameter header valve of the Khyala main installed at CWPH-1, HP-1. According to the DJB, water supply will either remain unavailable or be available at low pressure from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday. Areas likely to be affected include the command areas of Naraina Cantonment BPS/UGR, covering Inder Puri, Maya Puri, Toda Pur Village, Naraina Village, Naraina Vihar, Krishi Kunj, Mansarovar Garden, MES, as well as the command areas of Kirti Nagar UGR, HMP Colony, Punjabi Bagh UGR and adjoining localities. DJB advised residents to store water ahead of the six-hour disruption. Tankers will be available on request, with emergency control rooms providing assistance.
