Greater Noida, Sept. 22 -- Uttar Pradesh is strengthening its position as a major centre for global trade, investment and manufacturing, with the state government focusing on attracting investments, promoting exports and connecting local entrepreneurs with international markets.
These efforts will be showcased at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS)-2026, scheduled from September 25 to 29 at India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida. Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Russia, Austria and Belarus will participate as Partner Countries, supporting the state's 'Local to Global' initiative.
According to the Partner Country Plan, Vietnam and Japan have been allocated 54 square metres each, Singapore and Russia 36 square metres each, and Austria 54 square metres. The proposed participation from five countries includes 36 exhibitors and 100 buyers. Belarus will participate through chief ministerial and B2B activities.
The programme will include B2B meetings, country sessions, roundtables and interactions with high-level delegations. Special interaction sessions with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath have been proposed on September 25. Delegations will include ambassadors, high commissioners, trade commissioners and senior industry representatives.
Vietnam's participation will cover aviation, tourism, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, textiles, garments, handicrafts and electric vehicles. Japan will showcase technology and industrial products, while Singapore, Russia and Austria will feature businesses spanning surveillance, education, petrochemicals, industrial equipment, diagnostics, mobility and transport.
