Siliguri, Aug. 17 -- North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) is set to receive upgraded sports facilities for its students, along with improvements to healthcare infrastructure, Dr Indranil Khan, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Sports and Youth Welfare, stated this after visiting the medical college on Monday evening.
He said a gym would be set up in the hostel, while the existing ground would be upgraded to facilitate football, volleyball and basketball.
The initiative aims to provide students with better opportunities for sports and physical activities.
