India, July 14 -- A 17-year-old boy died after being stabbed during a violent altercation allegedly triggered by a dispute over his relationship with a girl in Delhi's Molarband area on Saturday night. Police have apprehended three accused and launched a search for others involved in the attack. According to police, a PCR call regarding the incident was received at Badarpur Police Station at around 8 pm on July 12. Preliminary inquiry revealed that the victim, a resident of Molarband Extension, had allegedly been called to the spot by the brother of a girl with whom he was reportedly in a relationship. During the confrontation, he was allegedly stabbed in the chest and abdomen with a sharp-edged weapon. Local residents rushed him to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he succumbed to his injuries despite treatment. Police said the crime team inspected the spot and collected forensic evidence. A murder case has been registered, and investigators are probing the sequence of events and verifying whether the attack stemmed from the alleged relationship dispute. Further investigation is underway.
