Kolkata, Oct. 12 -- Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Ltd has strengthened its association with Kolkata-based Ruby General Hospital to improve customer support and promote preventive healthcare.
The collaboration offers dedicated insurance assistance, deposit-free admission, free follow-up consultations, discounts on outpatient department (OPD) consultations and pharmacy services, streamlined discharge and 24x7 services, including access to cancer care. Around 80 Star Health agents and Sales Managers from West Bengal attended a knowledge session at the hospital.
Atin Roy, Business Head - West Bengal, Star Health Insurance, said the partnership would improve access to quality healthcare and provide customers with personalised assistance and smoother hospitalisation.
Subhasish Dutta, Chief General Manager - Operations, Ruby General Hospital, said the association would extend additional support to eligible customers and simplify healthcare access.
Dr Tapas Roy, Director, Department of General Medicine, Ruby General Hospital, discussed preventive screening, vaccination, nutrition, exercise and healthy ageing.
